About Lindsay

I LOVE what I do.

Alright—I'll just admit it: I'm obsessed with sleep. Kids' sleep, that is. I didn't care much about it before I became a parent. But eight years ago, I had twins. My husband travelled for work, and I was alone with two babies a lot of the time. I. Was. Oh. So. Tired, and I needed help.

When our girls were several months old, I reached out to a sleep consultant. I knew there were countless books out there that might help, but I couldn’t stay awake long enough to read any of them—I wasn’t even driving safely. I needed someone to just tell me what to do.

It would turn out to be the best money I’ve ever spent (even my extremely frugal, accountant husband says so!).

I told our consultant that all I wanted was to sleep for three consecutive hours, even just *most* nights. It seemed like a pipe dream, but I was desperate.

Then, a beautiful thing happened: my babies started sleeping through the night. Every night. I hadn’t expected that at all. The best part? They were happier, I was happier, and I began to emerge from the postpartum fog.

I started to actually enjoy being a mom for the FIRST time.

After getting some rest myself, I was once again able to do basic things—like use my brain! And I used it to think about my daughters' sleep. A lot. How much did they need? When should they nap? Was there wiggle room in our schedule? What to do when we travel? What the heck are these sleep regressions everyone's talking about? And what was I going to do when they were—gasp—toddlers?

I was hooked. I researched every sleep-related topic I could find, and proudly became a self-identified “sleep nerd.”

Not long after that, a cross-country move for my family meant a career change for me. I quickly applied to a certification program and started this sleep consulting journey.

Now I get to spend my days helping parents and families find more joy in the time they spend together, and I couldn’t be happier about it.

Choosing the right sleep consultant for your family

Working with a sleep consultant can be a very personal experience. You’re sharing details about your family (and, in some cases, inviting this individual into your home). It’s important to work with someone you feel comfortable with.

This is one of the reasons I work with several different methods. There are so many out there, ranging from extremely “gentle” to very “direct”—it’s important to know about several of them, because There’s no “one size fits all” solution. When I work with your family, I consider your family’s needs, schedule, your child’s personality, your parenting style, and so much more. Your entire sleep plan is written with a ‘whole child/family’ approach, with the main goal being your child(ren)’s and family’s ability to thrive.

My goals? To be supportive, non-judgemental, knowledgable, passionate, and HELPFUL! If this sounds like a fit for you, Please reach out to schedule a free 15-minute phone call so we can connect and talk about your options for support.
